What can I do with a major in. . . ?

I chose the professional job of teaching. I would love to become an elementary school teacher. Preferably teaching first or third grade. I feel it is important for kids to have a good role model at a young age and it will influence their life later. I had so many great elementary education teachers I would love to give back what they have given me.
